About
Contrasting sonic landscapes, connected through a coherent narrative.
Gohtobi is the live, production and DJ project of Alexandro Reyes, based in Mexico City and active since 2024.
The sound moves between hypnotic techno, breaks, electro and IDM, with bass, texture and space as constants. The intention is to keep a clear direction while playing something the audience hasn't heard before.
The live set combines prepared material with real-time decisions: sequences are triggered and rewritten, drums manipulated and rhythms changed while the set runs. No two performances are the same.
Gohtobi has played in Tokyo, Osaka and Kobe and holds a residency at Club Japan in Mexico City. A European run follows in January–February 2027.

Hypnotic techno, breaks and bass, with the same focus on contrast and long-form progression.
Setup: Elektron Tonverk, Octatrack MK2 and Analog Heat +FX. Stereo output. Full technical rider on request.
